The Greater Ozarks Open happens every spring in Springfield.  The 2011 event will be  the 53rd Annual Greater Ozarks Tournament.   Sons and daughters in law of two of the original owners now own and operate the tournament. Don and Mae Iseminger were involved since the beginning and Don served as Tournament Director for many years before turning that chore over to his son Danny. Don remained active in the tournament through the 2005 tournament.  Tournament Director Danny Iseminger, his wife Liz, and Ron and Debbie Iseminger are present each weekend at Enterprise Park Lanes where the singles and double events are held. David and Julie Buff are at Sunshine Lanes each weekend to run the Team Event. David is the son of another original owner, Bob Buff. 

 

The 2011 tournament paid out a total of  $327,000.00 in prize fund.
 A total of $500,000.00 was paid out to Bracket winners.

Ozarks Women’s Classic
Holiday Lanes

The tournament runs weekends beginning in February and ending in May. No tournament bowling on Easter weekend.
 The 2011 tournament was the 50th Annual Ozarks Women's Classic.

Southwest Missouri Team Challenge

 

A USBC sanctioned team tournament each month September thru May. Each tournament is at a different southwest Missouri bowling center. Bowl in one or bowl in all of them. You may enter each tournament more than once bowling on different teams.

State Tournament – One out of eight teams in each monthly tournament qualify to enter the State Finals competing against qualifiers from this area as well as other areas of the state.

Each tournament cash payment ratio is one in five.
